On March 11th 2023 the Royal Hospital School at Holbrook will play host to Pip Hare. Come to hear her as she prepares for the 2024 Vendee Globe Race. As well as an inspiring talk from Pip, there will be seminars on a wide range of yachting subjects – from cruising through to dinghy racing, offshore racing and dinghy cruising. Something for everyone.
The Schedule
The day will see a wide range of events and seminars. You can choose to attend the seminars, dinner and Pip Hare talk, or the dinner and talk, or just the Pip Hare talk.
Pip Hare - We really do mean to go to sea
11 March 2023 14:00RegistrationRegistration for the seminars will take place between 14.00 and 14.30 in the foyer to the assembly hall. The first seminars will start at 14.30.
11 March 2023 14:30Seminar session 1The first seminar session will start at 14.30. The seminars will take place in the classrooms and will be an hour in length. There will be an extensive choice of seminars covering cruising, offshore racing, dinghy racing, dinghy cruising and lots of general topics and you simply choose which one you would like to go to for each session.
11 March 2023 15:30Tea breakBetween 15.30 and 16.00 will be a tea break.

The second seminar session will take place between 16.00 and 17.00. There will be an extensive choice of seminars covering cruising, offshore racing, dinghy racing, dinghy cruising and lots of general topics and you simply choose which one you would like to go to for each session.
- 11 March 2023 17:00Seminar session 3
The third seminar session will take place between 17.00 and 18.00. There will be an extensive choice of seminars covering cruising, offshore racing, dinghy racing, dinghy cruising and lots of general topics and you simply choose which one you would like to go to for each session.
11 March 2023 18:00DinnerDinner will take place in the dining hall at 18.00, through until 19.15.
11 March 2023 19:30Pip Hare talkThe talk from Pip Hare will take place at 19.30 in the assembly hall.
